PHOTOSHELTER REVEALS 20 PHOTOGRAPHERS SELECTED
FOR DREAM PHOTO SESSION, SHOOT! ON LOCATION

Led By Renowned Photographers & Equipped by Nikon, Photo Shoots
Are Part of PhotoShelter's Worldwide Event to Replenish Stock Photo Supply

New York, NY, July 3, 2008 - PhotoShelter Inc., the leading online destination where more than 32,000 photographers sell stock photography and access powerful solutions for e-commerce and image storage, today announced the names of 20 photographers who have been selected from more than 750 applicants to join photo industry experts on instructional on-location photo sessions during Shoot! The Day. On July 20, 2008, thousands of photographers will gather in New York and local grassroots events around the world to connect, learn and take pictures that will revitalize the stock photography industry. Shoot! The Day is hosted by PhotoShelter with sponsors Nikon, Adorama Camera, and Shoot Digital Studios.

Dubbed Shoot! On Location, the 20 chosen photographers will engage in a photo shoot based on five key image categories noted by image buyers as most depleted: active seniors, youth culture, family and kids, business settings and still life. The photographers will be led by expert instructors and armed with all equipment and staff for the shoot, including state-of-the-art cameras and lenses from Nikon, lighting equipment from MAC Group, with models, stylists, make-up artists and locations provided by PhotoShelter.

The 20 photographers were handpicked from more than 750 applicants and chosen for their vision, enthusiasm and talent. Available spots were open to contributing photographers to the PhotoShelter Collection, PhotoShelter's stock photography marketplace.

In addition to the Shoot! On Location experience, on July 20, 2008 hundreds of other photographers will join in demonstrations and panel discussions featuring photographer, technical and image buyer experts taking place at the Shoot! The Day event at Shoot Digital Studios. Partners Nikon, Adorama Camera and other industry-leading brands will offer hands-on product demonstrations and special discounts. The event will culminate with an evening party and a sampling of the five on-location photo shoots from earlier in the day. Photographers worldwide are invited to take photos mirroring the five key categories. Individuals and groups are already organizing across the North America, South America, Europe and Australia.

All photographers who take pictures in the five Shoot! The Day categories are encouraged to submit their work to the PhotoShelter Collection where images can be licensed to top buyers. By submitting images by July 27, 2008, photographers will be eligible for prizes and large scale recognition. The best images from Shoot! The Day will be selected by a panel of leading image buyers. Winners will be announced September 8, 2008.
