Matanuska River Valley

The Matanuska River begins at the Matanuska Glacier about 100 miles northeast of Anchorage, Alaska, and flows southwest between the Chugach and Talkeetna mountains. A particularly scenic viewpoint is near its conluence with the Chickaloon River.
