The United States' third largest city, Chicago, has become one of the world's final four candidates to host the 2016 summer olympics. On 2 April 2009, when the International Olympics Committee paid a visit to Chicago, a newly formed group called No Games Chicago, staged a demonstration in the city's downtown. The group is demanding that Chicago Mayor Richard Daley better the situation for Chicago's residents before inviting the costly olympics to the city.
