Clay Bolt's work has a conservation focus and he regularly partners with organizations such as The Nature Conservancy to highlight environmental issues facing the Southeastern, United States. He has received awards for his work from the National Wildlife Federation and the CIWEM Environmental Photographer of the Year Competition among others.
