Undefeated WBC Intl welterweight titleholder Selcuk Aydin (18-0, 14 KOs) of Turkey was successful in his United States debut with a twelve round split decision over Said Ouali (25-2, 17 KOs). Aydin pressed the action for much of the fight then survived a brutal last minute assault by Ouali to win on two cards 115-112, 116-111. Ouali was up 114-113 on the third card.
