Friuli

Friuli-Venezia Giulia is Italy's most North-eastern region and one of its smallest and borders Austria to the North and Slovenia to the East while to the South it faces the Adriatic Sea. The landscape is varied for a small region and includes the Carnic and Julian Alps. The regional capital is Trieste, while the other important cities are Udine, Gorizia, Grado, Cividale and Pordenone.
