Le Marche

The Adriatic coast and towns like Ancona, Ascoli-Piceno, Fermo, Macerata, Pesaro and Urbino are just a few of the places I have photographed in this region once described as 'less often visited' but which is now firmly on the tourist's path. In particular I followed the Via Flaminia through this region while working on my book "Roads to Rome"
