John has studyed with some of the best Photographers and set Designers worldwide, in both still and motion picture photography. John's education and areas of study included Graphic Arts, Design, Communications, Motion Picture Production, and Photography. John has attended (starting in the 1970's) such schools as Portland State, Centralia College, University of Oregon, and the University of Arizona. He has worked as a Commercial Photographer in the Pacific Northwest as well as in Los Angeles, California. He now resides in Malibu, California where he lives on a small ranch, in the Santa Monica Mountains, where he keeps his horse Babe and his two dogs Bo and Annie.
