Following the publication of the Ryan report, a five volume report documenting six decades of clerical child abuse in Ireland, the survivors of the abuse and their supporters marched in a silent protest in Dublin today (10/6/2009). Kathleen Byrne was in St Aloysous Industrial school in Clonakilty, Co. Cork from the age of 3-17 where she was physically abused by the nuins and sexually assaulted by a doctor.
