Following the publication of the Ryan report, a five volume report documenting six decades of clerical child abuse in Ireland, the survivors of the abuse and their supporters marched in a silent protest in Dublin today (10/6/2009). Paddy Doyle, who was left orphaned at the age of four was sentenced to 11 years in an industrial school by a court with 'not being in possession of a guardian' following the death of his mother from cancer and the subsequent suicide of his father.
