Based in Sydney, Australia Michael has 25 years experience working for Australian and International organizations and magazines. He won 1st prize in the Science and Technology Stories category at the World Press Photo Awards in 2001 and 1999 and third prize in the Nature and Environment in 2003. Capture Magazine included Michael in their list of Top Australian Photographers in the years 2009, 2008 and 2007 in the editorial and photojournalism categories.
