Deborah and John are both the youngest children each with seven siblings (both sets of parents have been married for over 40 years). Deborah is from Houston, TX and has been vacationing in Sea Island, Georgia since she was a little girl.

The rehearsal dinner was held at Piney Point, a secluded neighborhood within Sea Island.
The bridesmaids luncheon was hosted by Deborah's sisters and took place at a cottage on the island.
The ceremony was held on the grounds of the newly renovated Cloister Hotel and the Reception at the Sea Island Beach Club.
