"The Amazing Knicker Kittens Burlesque Revue" is Sweden's first modern day burlesque troupe. They specialize in classic burlesque rooted in a tradtion that goes back to the mid 19th century. Today it is more considered a form of liberation of the body, rather than cementation of tradtional roles. Knicker Kittens undress in front of their predominentely female audiences at their own terms. For them it's about having fun and being proud in spite of not looking like supermodels.

The troupe recently they won a prestigious award for "Most Classic Burlesque" 2009 in Las Vegas Burlesque Hall of Fame.
