46th Annual calligraphy contest in Tokyo

A total of 3,300 calligraphers, using traditional brushes and ink, having qualified in country wide competitions throughout Japan, took part in the 46th annual contest in Tokyo on January 5, 2010, to help mark the start of the new year.
