Mitsubishi Motors Swings to Profit

Mitsubishi Motors Corp., the maker of the i-MiEV electric minicar, returned to profit in the three months ended Dec. 31 as government rebates and tax cuts spurred auto demand. The Japanese maker posted a net income of 10.7 billion yen ($118 million) in the three months compared with a loss of 17.5 billion yen in the year-earlier period.
