France-Burzet, Good Friday

France - Burzet (Ardeche). For generations the inhabitants of Burzet, a remote little village in Ardeche, in southeastern France, have reenacted annually the Passion of the Christ on Good Friday, following a tradition dating back to the 13th century. A group of reenactors playing the roles of Roman legionnaires.
