Mt. McKinley, Denali National Park, an aerial view from 12,000 feet, from the south side looking north. North America's tallest mountain at 20,320 feet, Mt. McKinley is the center attraction in the park. Just to see the mountain, from a train or motorcoach, or from any of numerous vantage points around the park, is truly the highlight of many a summer vacation to Alaska. There is something magical about the tallest mountain, impressive from whatever angle you see it.
