An aerial view of the Ishkowik River. Ishkowik River runs south east into the Kuskokwim Bay from its headwaters in the YK-Delta. The Yukon Koskokwim Delta is considered the largest delta in the US. The YK Delta is a major breeding ground for our birds in the long Alaskan summer. Rivers like the Ishkowik River helps to keep the balance in the ecosystem of the YK Delta.
