The Point Hope Airport in northwestern Alaska. The runway 1 -19 is a very nice paved runway at this outpost by the Chukchi Sea. This is as far northwest one can get in Alaska into the Arctic Ocean. Any and all future shipping traffic through the northwest passage will turn south just offshore of this very barren flat landscape of northwestern Alaska here at Point Hope.
