The Common Squirrel monkey (Saimiri sciureus) spread urine on the bottoms of the hands and feet. Then when the individuals walks, the urine is spread upon the substrate. It is used to spread olfactory cues. The young are cared for by other females as well as the mother, but not by any males.<br />
