A woman of the Maasai tribe in eastern Africa looks out of the doorway of her mud hut during a wedding ceremony in the village. The women of the village build the huts from a stick framework and cow dung for mud. Thier colorful cloth is purchased, but all of the beadwork is made by the Maasai and they make some of their living by selling it. Mostly they are still pastoralists, herding cattle on the lion-infested savanna. The younger men are now more interested in working for the safari outfitters as guides and drivers.
