Africa Cup 2008: Fever Legacy
From January 20 through February 10, 2008, Ghana hosted the 26th Africa Cup of Nations tournament. For 3 weeks football was omnipresent, and Ghanaians' immense love for the sport swept the nation.
One used the term football fever to describe the phenomenon, knowing, however, fever of such depth and scope did not come from a one-time cold. Ghana's fever has been passed down from one generation to another; it is lived every day and nurtured.
