Cai Guo-Qiang, world renowned artist famous for his "gunpowder art," the mastermind behind the visual and special effects of the opening and closing ceremonies of the Beijing Olympics, opened his mid-career retrospective "I Want To Believe" on August 19 amidst the Olympic Games. The exhibition debuted at New York's Guggenheim Museum in February 2008 to become the second-best selling solo exhibition in the museum's history.
