Hunters transfer their bushmeat catches to Cameroon's cities, by way of cable ferry across the Dja River in southeastern Cameroon. Nathan Wolfe, Director of the Global Virus Forecasting Initiative (GVFI), and his team work in the area to sample the blood of hunters and their families, as well as the animals they harvest, to search for emerging pathogens.
