A pair of camels showed up on the final day of negotiation at the United Nations Climate Talks in Bonn Germany. The camels were drawing attention to the severity of desertification that climate change is causing and the severity of the weak targets that countries have set at these talks. With the plodding nature of talks to date, it will be a surprise if an agreement is reached in Copenhagen later this year. (©Robert vanWaarden)
