Personal Interpretations

My approach in creating pictures that I describe as "personal interpretations" are much the same as when I'm working as a photojournalist, i.e., the photographs are spontaneous and the subject is not manipulated or directed. The difference lies in my intent. As a photojournalist my intent is to communicate truthful, impartial information while the work I describe as "personal interpretations" is intended to communicate my idiosyncratic perceptions of or reactions to whatever I'm photographing.
