Iraqis suffer health problems from bad water
Children in the Iraqi village of al-Radathiya gather water at a river, one of two sources of water for their approximately 11,000 population village, east of Najaf. The river is a kilometer from the village and the water has left many of the villagers with cholera and chronic diarrhea. According to their $680 million, no-bid, contract, Bechtel Corporation is responsible for providing potable water to southern Iraq.
