Omar Bah, 6, waives from behind an Obama mask out the window of his parents' restaurant and club near Howard University. The Bahs are a family of immigrants from Guinea and Morocco. Inauguration. Photographs from around DC including Adam's Morgan, U-Street, and Howard University. For many, U-Street is regarded as the soul of DC, a traditionally black part of town cutting through the the northern quadrants of the Capital.
