Walnut, California, February 4, 2011 - A portrait of Ken Campbell, CEO of Standard Pacific Homes, at the company's Three Oaks developments in Walnut (west of Los Angeles). Mr. Campbell came to StanPac, as the company in known in the industry, in 2008 with no home-building experience. StanPac is the only builder spending millions - some $500 million since mid 2009 - on raw, undeveloped land, betting that it will increase in value once the market returns.
