Policemen in riot gear man a road block to stop the sound trucks of the paramilitary Uyoku Dantai right wing groups outside Yasukuni Shrine. On August 15th every year people gather at Yasukuni Shrine to commemorate the end of the Pacific War. Notionally a call for remembrance and continued peace it is also a Mecca for right wing nationalist including the paramilitary Uyoku Dantai. Tokyo, Japan, August 15th 2009
