Studio City, California, July 14, 2010 - An old typewriter sites in the window of the  Samuel French Bookshop in Studio City. Bob McCullough, who was one of the 165 television writers who were plaintiffs in a long-running age-bias case against more than two-dozen defendants that essentially run the television business, say that he began his career with a manual typewriter. "Before the internet, writers worked on the set in small trailers,' says McCullough. "But after personal computers and in the internet, we all just started working from home."  .
