Irene Souza Almeida, 56, lives on the collection and sale of cans and plastic bottles lying at the dump of Altamira. After having filled two large bags with their laitnhas warned other than another pile of garbage was better because it had more cans aluminium, trash that was brought from the city. Are about forty. .In last March  the Public Ministry of the State of Para in Altamira, make conducted  inspection survey to establish civil prosecution in civil justice, for the deployment of a landfill in the area..This landfill is among the constraints, imposed on the Belo Monte Consortium Builder (CCBM), responsible for the construction of the Belo Monte Dam. The constraints are improvements that should be made in the city of Altamira and across the region that will be affected by the plant,  established by IBAMA, FUNAI, neighborhood association, municipality of Altamira and the state government. However, according to social organizations and movements that accompany the construction, nothing was done. Public hospitals are scrapped, sewage runs open in the city center...Six women who survive the work at the dump.
