A decaying horse caught in a tree six months after hurricane Katrina. .Plaquemines Parish took the most heavy damage from hurricane Katrina. Located south of New Orleans, Plaquemines Parish had a large Shrimping fisherman community which was completely destroyed by Katrina. It is just starting to rebound six months after Katrina.
