Inauguration-goers stand in front of one of several Obama art installations done by icon artists Shaepard Fairey. This particular installation can be found near U street, a historically black strip of commercial passing through DC. Inauguration. Photographs from around DC including Adam's Morgan, U-Street, and Howard University. For many, U-Street is regarded as the soul of DC, a traditionally black part of town cutting through the the northern quadrants of the Capital.
