Lockheed C-17 Parked With General Aviation Aircraft

A United States Air Force C-17 Globemaster III sits on the ramp with a variety of general aviation aircraft at Charles M. Schulz Regional Airport in Santa Rosa, California. The Globemaster was there as part of the annual Wings Over the Wine Country Airshow, sponsored by the Pacific Coast Air Museum, in August 2007. The C-17 was first delivered to the Air Force in June of 1993. The Globemaster has a maximum payload capacity of 170,900 pounds. Photographed 08/07
