Early onset Alzheimers tends to progress quicker in younger patients. ..Carolyn Eberspecher has been caring for her husband, Mike, for the last five years. Over time, he has gradually lost his ability to care for himself and relies on her for most of his needs. In April of 2010, Carolyn will place her husband in an Alzheimer's care unit in the town's nursing home. .Carolyn Eberspecher attends church in Douglas, Wyoming. Carolyn and Mike attend separate churches. After Mike was diagnosed with Alzheimers, he returned to attending Mormon church, a tradition which had fallen by the wayside for most of his adult life.
