"Vega's Interiores Mejicanos" store owner Jorge Vega is seen outside his business on August 19, 2010 in Laredo, Texas. According to Vega recent events in Mexico have severely hurt his business in Texas which has been operating on the U.S. side of the border for over 20 years (and since 1939 in Nuevo Laredo). City officials say negative attitudes about the city's more dangerous sister Nuevo Laredo have kept tourists from coming and effected the over all economics of the town.
