Summer Streets
New York, NY - 15 August 2009 - Summer Streets, the second of three car free Saturdays where the City's Department of Transportation (DOT) closes almost seven miles of traffic for pedestrians, cyclists, and skaters. The Car-Free event opened up almost 7 miles of car-free streets along Centre Street, Lafayette Street, Fourth Avenue and Park Avenue, from the Brooklyn Bridge to 72nd Street and Central Park
