Rare Bear, piloted by John Penney, zooms through the Valley of Speed during the 2008 Reno Championship Air Races. Penney piloted the highly modified Grumman Bearcat during the Unlimited Gold Championship Race but did not finish due to a failure of the Pratt & Whitney R3500 engine.
