Kibbutz Dafna was formed by members of Kfar Giladi after they left the Kibbutz and it is located several miles to the east..A brook of the Dan river passes through it...In the past Dafna was a very wealthy Kibbutz and a large maker of shoes, but since the factory collapsed, Dafna is struggling and has undergone privatization...More than half of the houses in Dafna are rented to students of the nearby "Tel Chai" college...The Kibbutz is scattered with mighty ancient oak trees..
