Glacier grinded mountain at the Svartisen Glacier. Norway.
Tundra landscape at the Svartisen Glacier. Norway. The mountian has been grinded and rounded by the moving ice masses and then uncovered as the ice cap pulled backwards due to small yearly snow contribution. This is the second biggest Glacier in Northern Europe (covering year 1905: 192 sq. Miles/498 KM2; today 143 sc, miles/370 KM2, during recent years the ice cap has grown due to more snow) SA_1078.jpg
