Mike Mangold pilots the L-29 Delfin "Euro Burner" in a Jet Class heat race during the 2008 Reno National Championship Air Races at Stead Field, Nevada. Mangold, who also competes in the Red Bull Air Races, finished second in the Jet Class Gold race with a speed of 499.272 miles per hour on the 47.6658 mile course.
