Lom stavkirke (wooden church), Lom Norway. The curch was built in 11th century and is the oldest wooden church in Norway. The figures on the roof is represnts pagan symbols from the Nordic mythology, which home was that of the very nearby Jotunheimen, as the early christian might not be totally sure which god was the most powerfull, so tribute was paid to all of them.
