The Government is trying to evict the indigenous Bedouin population from their historical land and settle them in the seven townships built for them. Many of the families that have moved there have found almost no assistance, were given little compensation to move from their land and, even though many Bedouins serve in the army, they have a slim chance to travel outside the country, faces discrimination in the social sphere, and their tradition are slowly fading away, as many cannot rely on their sustainable lifestyle anymore, once moved is such cities.
