This Ash-throated Flycatcher wasn't fooled by the walkingstick's attempt at camouflage. Walkingsticks, also called stick insects and stickbugs, can defoliate deciduous forests, but flycatchers and other insect-eating birds help to control local infestations. This flycatcher constructed its nest in the pipes of the park gate at Choke Canyon State Park. .
