Peru
A man playing the role of the Inca king processes out of the Dominican Priory and Church of Santo Domingo during the Inti Raymi festival in Cuzco, Peru on Sunday June 24, 2007. Santo Domingo was built by the Spaniards on top of the destroyed Inca Temple of the Sun (Coricancha). A 1950 earthquake exposed the Inca foundations of the church which have since been preserved.
