Chautauqua 15
Gary Sponholtz rings the original 1893 bell recovered from St. Francis de Sales Cathedral before it was demolished due to damage from the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake. The bell will be installed in the new Oakland Cathedral of Christ the Light next year. The Oakland Diocese celebrated its diversity at Chautauqua 15 Saturday October 6, 2007 at St. Stephen's Parish in Walnut Creek, California. (Greg Tarczynski)
