Jamie Gerardo Torres helps his three-year old son Jared climb the steep steps of the Pyramid of the Sun at Teotihuacan.  In the background is the Pyramid of the Moon.  The pyramids at Teotihuacan represent the first urban area in the western hemisphere dating from 500 B.C. to 700 A.D.  and are located about 48 km northeast of Mexico City.
