Cummins break ground for the Cathedral of Christ the Light in Oakland, California on Saturday May 21, 2005. Fr. Quang Dong, who was recently named pastor of the new cathedral parish, escaped his native Vietnam in 1980.  He and the other 75 passengers on the boat endured 22 pirate attacks on their journey to Malaysia.
