  • Rey Cabrera at the Summer Breeze Latin Festival 2006 in Amsterdam (The Netherlands). Rey Cabrera was born on 23 January 1943 in the mountains surrounding Santiago de Cuba. He grew up with the Ochoa family, the renowned musicians of "Buena Vista Social Club" and left the mountains with Maria and Eliades Ochoa to devote his life to music in Santiago de Cuba.
